Honestly, this is a much-needed step for Pakistan if they want to attract investment and actually deliver better public services. Bringing in technical experts on merit and ending those lifetime government jobs is long overdue—no economy can be competitive with an outdated, bloated bureaucracy. Digitizing the economy and creating more space for public-private partnerships is smart, too; the private sector is usually way more efficient at driving innovation. If the government can actually push these reforms through, it could really help modernize Pakistan and integrate it better into the global market.
