Honestly, seeing lawmakers in Punjab resorting to physical fights instead of debate is just embarrassing and really concerning for democracy. When our representatives act like this, it undermines trust in the whole system and makes it harder to address the real issues people are facing. Social democracy is all about dialogue, compromise, and strengthening democratic institutions—not chaos and suspensions. I’m glad the reinstated PTI members can return, because a functioning opposition is essential for checks and balances. But seriously, all sides need to calm down and get back to solving problems for ordinary citizens, not just fighting for power.

This is exactly why concentrating so much power in government is a bad idea—when politicians act like children, it’s the people who pay the price. Instead of having actual debates about policy, they’re just busy fighting and suspending each other. It’s no wonder nothing ever gets done for ordinary folks while these guys are busy playing power games. Maybe if government had less control over our lives, these outbursts wouldn’t matter so much in the first place.
